Delray Beach is different than any other town in Florida because of the various things to do, and the way it peaks the interests of anyone from young professionals, to artistic souls, to families, and even retirees. Delray offers something for everyone and beautiful, unique places to live. Where else, in one place, can you find a vibrant nightlife, and exciting day life, local boutiques, finger-licking acclaimed restaurants, and sports? If you stop two people on the street, and they will either be walking or biking, one person might live above a hip café, and another in a waterfront bungalow.

The weather is reasonably considered a highlight, with warm and sunny weather and occasional, fast moving showers just to provide a quick cool down.

Delray Beach is situated between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, and offers an eclectic downtown via Atlantic Avenue, the hub of the city, as well as beautiful beaches along the Intracoastal Waterway.

In a quick walk downtown, you will see everything from palm trees lining the streets, to water bowls for residents’ poaches, to outdoor cafes and art displays.

Here, you will find art galleries, artist studios, sidewalks displays, and even art festivals, which are more frequent than not. The largest art festival in all of South Florida also calls Delray Beach home, and come spring residents and visitors migrate to the Delray Affair.

If you want to find great art right in the heart of Delray, then look no further than Atlantic Avenue, which serves as the home of various traveling art exhibits that are frequently on display at the Cornell Museum of Art.
